marius symms

3rd Dan
SOUTH AFRICA

I began karate in 2013 with my son, Kyle, under Hanshi Attie Coetzer. Since then, I have proudly competed in every Tenshinkan tournament and participated in multiple international gashuku, including grading in Japan before Kancho Miwa himself.

In 2022, I earned my 3rd Dan and continue to serve as a proud ambassador of Tenshinkan Karate. My son, now a Protea team member, has also gone on to represent South Africa internationally. For our family, karate is not only a practice—it’s a way of life. Ossu!
