Held four times a year in South Africa, aligned with school terms, National Grading Days provide students the opportunity to advance in their martial arts journey.
Location: Hosted at the Dojo, with exams beginning at 08:00.
Requirements: Students must meet minimum stamp requirements and be registered for the current year’s Belt Progression.
Timeline: The first test occurs after 20 lessons (approximately 3 months).
For children under 7: Progress is marked by stripes before earning full belts.
Black belt: Typically achieved in 3–5 years, depending on age, ability, and training frequency.
